Frequently Asked Questions

  • No! You do not need a GP referral for counselling and psychotherapy.

    However, if you have a family GP, we are happy to speak with them to ensure the best multi-disciplinary wrap around care.

    We accept referrals from GP’s and other professionals including Paediatricians, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Mental Health Clinicians.

  • Yes!

    We currently offer Private Health Fund Rebates for the following funds: Police Health Fund, Bupa, Emergency Services, Pheonix Health, St Lukes Health, GMHBA, CUA Health (telehealth only), Teachers Union Health, AIA, and Westfund.

  • Yes! We accept Self-Funded & Plan Managed NDIS plans.

  • This is dependent on the current concern and length of treatment for presenting issues. We suggest an average of 5-10 sessions, fully understanding that some clients will need more, and some will need less.

  • We send out confirmation texts/emails two days prior to your appointment.

    If, for unforeseen circumstances, you are not able to attend your session a 24-hour notification is required to cancel or reschedule.

    If no notification is made including non-attendance, full fee will be charged.

    Same day cancellations will be charged for the full session amount.

  • Yes, we do. Telehealth is equally as effective for the treatment of anxiety and OCD as in-person sessions.

    We offer telehealth to clients from remote areas and interstate as a way of increasing access to high-quality treatment options.
